These are the famous little Pansies that hitched a ride in a planter I had Chicks and Hens planted in. These little guys are barely in any soil at all yet, are quite happy with their neighbors it would seem. I'm not sure what their blooming season normally is because these Pansies survived the winter here in the Pacific Northwest with their blooms in tact and covered in ice even! This shot was hand-edited in Photoshop. Spring 2016.
I'm a southern born and raised country girl at heart although I have resided in the beautiful state of Washington for over 30 years. I fell in love with the camera the first time I saw one. I needed no one to explain it's potential even at that young age. I'm a wife and mother of three and money was always tight while raising the kids. There was no time nor money back then to explore the magic with a camera. My children are now grown and retirement nears although my love for the lens has never faded. I'm now at a place in my life where I'm able to dive head first into my photography which is my passion. It amazes me still that I'm able to capture through my lens what the eye sees. I hope my work blesses those who see it as much as it has...
