I'm a southern born and raised country girl at heart although I have resided in the beautiful state of Washington for over 30 years. I fell in love with the camera the first time I saw one. I needed no one to explain it's potential even at that young age. I'm a wife and mother of three and money was always tight while raising the kids. There was no time nor money back then to explore the magic with a camera. My children are now grown and retirement nears although my love for the lens has never faded. I'm now at a place in my life where I'm able to dive head first into my photography which is my passion. It amazes me still that I'm able to capture through my lens what the eye sees. I hope my work blesses those who see it as much as it has...

Jean, I have been watching you grow in your work since the very beginning, and I am AMAZED how quickly you flew with a "paintbrush" in your hand. However, this particular piece is by FAR my favorite out of your entire collection. You have captured the simple beauty of things God has blessed us with that so many take for granted, and when I see your work, I see all the love an passion that prominent in each brush stroke. Don't ever let go of this special gift God has given you. I look forward to the many many more additions to your collection that are turning into a legacy before my very eyes, and that many generations to come will enjoy.
